- LDS and RLDS Book of Mormon Comparison. A handy reference comparing the Book of Mormon used by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and that used by the Reorganized LDS Church. This site makes great use of Internet frames technology to allow a side-by-side comparison of both works. One scrollable text is on the left; the other appears on the right. Unfortunately, the site suffers from a lack of commentary, as well as a lack of highlighting. Other than that, it's a fantastic resource. http://www.dailynews.net/support/restoration/bofm/index.html
- Mormon's Story. The text of the Book of Mormon in a simpler English. While I'm a great fan of reading scriptures in their original form, I'm an even greater fan of understanding the scriptures-in whatever form generates understanding. Timothy Wilson's rewrite of the Book of Mormon is beautifully done, and it's all available online, at this Web site. If this is the kind of simplification it takes to get a child or a new reader through the Book of Mormon, it's a worthwhile venture. http://www.enoch.com/voicesfromdust/mormonstory/mormonstory.html

Chiasmus Studies -- submit link
Chiasmus is an ancient poetic and structural form found in both the Old and New Testament, as well as in the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants. Its presence in the Book of Mormon is considered by many to be evidence of the Book of Mormon's divine origin.
- Chiasmus in Mosiah 3. Lacks commentary, but it's a fine resource if you're reading Mosiah anyway. http://deathstar.rutgers.edu/people/kurtn/exegesis/mosiah3x.txt
- Chiasmus in the Book of Mormon. Another Jeff Lindsay page, with careful explanations of how Chiasmus is structured. Contains many examples of the form. http://www.athenet.net/~jlindsay/chiasmus.shtml
- Davidic Chiasmus and Parallelisms. A governing literary structure for messianic literature. Here you'll find more than 100 examples of chiastic patterns. The page describes the chiastic structure and illustrates it through many examples. Some of the chiastic structures here are controversial, so ponder it carefully. http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/3500/index.html
- Chiasmus on the Brass Plates. A brief introduction to Chiasmus. http://www.mormonism.com/chiasmus.htm
- Structure and Outline of Zephaniah. Certainly not a Book of Mormon site, but nevertheless a very compelling resource on chiasmic structure, as illustrated in the book of Zephaniah. Compiled by a Rev. Ralph A. Smith, who writes: "The entire book of Zephaniah is constructed as a chiasmus, the purpose of which is to emphasize the character and certainty of the judgment about to fall upon Judah and Jerusalem. Zephaniah alludes to well-known historical events-the Noahic deluge, the Exodus, and the Conquest-to structure his book. The central and most emphatic portion of the book is the call for repentance (2:1-3). The promise of salvation also, breaking the chiastic structure at the end of the book (3:9-20), has particular force." http://www.berith.com/English/ZEPH001.html

Bible Commentaries
Try 1 Cor. 15:29, the verses on baptism for the dead, to find bias. Here's a sampling of what you'll find:
