There may be more than one individual in this family named Stephen, in which event, tradition holds that this individual would have died prior to the birth of the second person with the same name. In any event, Stephen Post is listed with two widespread birthdates. Based solely on the possibility that there is a second person, and it is he who lived to adulthood, all marriages are being assigned to the second (Lt.)
