There are, apparently, two same-named brothers. This birthdate 9 Dec 1651 is listed in multiple sources for this child. The christening date, many years later, is listed in various sources for the same child. Another source lists two separate brothers with the same name and no dates, leading to the conclusion that there must actually be two Thomas Hoares. The span between first and last child in this family make the dates suspect. Either there are multiple mothers, or this mother was exceptionally fertile, or the second Thomas Hoare doesn't belong to this family at all, or the second Thomas Hoare is adopted. --lmg Another source lists a birthdate of "9 Dec 1651".
