An interim update. Watch for a full update soon. With one new page of conversion stories, and one significant loss. If you want to know why we're removing (hopefully, only temporarily) the "Free the Birdies" story, send me an e-mail. (D&C 63:32-37, 58-64)

And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father -- That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
Doctrine and Covenants, Section 76, vs. 22-24h
And a thought from Brigham Young:
It yields solid satisfaction to hear men testify of the truth of the Gospel. It is always peculiarly interesting to me to hear the Saints tell their experience. It is to me one of the best sermons to hear men and women relate to each other how the Lord has wrought upon their understanding and brought them into the path of truth, life, and salvation. I would rather hear men tell their own experiences, and testify that Joseph was a Prophet of the Lord, and that the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other revelations of God, are true; that they know it by the gift and power of God; that they have conversed with angels, have had the power of the Holy Ghost upon them, giving them visions and revelations, than hear any kind of preaching that ever saluted my ears.
Discourses of Brigham Young, p.335, 1:89

About the Author
Welcome to Testify! This page was created as a place for LDS people to share their experiences with the Spirit, that we might fulfill the admonition of Paul to "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord... [and] that good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us." (2 Timothy 1:8, 14)
Drop us a note if you find a link that should be included on this list.

Testimonies borne in response to an inquiry from a woman considering membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am, in no particular order, a wife, a mom, a writer and an editor. And none of these things would I do well if I weren't also a firmly committed Saint. The Catholic meaning of the word has no application here. I find all my strength and meaning in life in my relationship with God, and through my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Lord has buoyed me through all the difficulties I've faced in this life -- and there have been many. It's in gratitude to God, and to the fellowship I've found in the Church, that I undertake this page, and make a public proclamation of the truth I've found: That God lives; that He loves me and that He loves all my brothers and sisters who share this planet with me; that he established a Church as the means by which we learn of Him and serve one another; that He stands ready to answer sincere, humble prayer; and that when answers come they come in unexpected, profound and unforgettable ways. And most importantly, that through the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ we find our salvation and our hope. On these truths lie my very life.
